Zermatt

Matterhorn is the most beautiful mountain in Switzerland and a symbol of the famous holiday destination — Zermatt. Its characteristic shape even inspired the design of Swiss Toblerone chocolate.

A rack railway connects Zermatt with Gornergrat, making it easy to reach one of the best viewpoints for photographing the Matterhorn and surrounding glaciers. At the top, you’ll also find Kulmhotel Gornergrat — the highest hotel in Switzerland above sea level. The journey itself, on the Gornergrat train, is a scenic and memorable experience.

Zermatt, like Saas-Fee, is a car-free town where combustion engines are not allowed, ensuring exceptionally clean mountain air.
